Have Original Business
Ideas?
Is California’s business culture more open-minded
to original thinkers? Considering that the world is generally closed-minded,
California’s San Francisco Bay Area can seem like a breath of fresh air.
Consider doing business in California. Many
West Europeans find the business climate in the San Francisco Bay Area
much more flexible and innovative than Western Europe. The business and
temperature climates are good.

may more than compensate. Be creative with your tax deductions too.

VISAS & IMMIGRATION:
90 Day Stays: Tourist visas are generally
an easier way to gain entry, and prior permission is usually not required
of West Europeans, Canadians and those from other economically developed
countries. Call your travel agent or local US Embassy office.
At the time of this writing citizens from
the following countries come under the Visa Waiver Program:
Andorra, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brunei,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein,

Long Term Stays: Entrepreneurs with maybe
at least several hundred thousand euros, and who are planning to hire Americans
can get visas. Work visas as an employee are difficult to get unless you
have a valuable skill. Immigration laws are tough, but designed to let
in those who are creatively intelligent in finding the loopholes. The parent
for one of the writers of this site was European and became an American.
All European countries have immigration
attorneys familiar with US immigration laws. Or surf the web for an immigration
attorney in the US (this writer knows of such attorneys but wishes to remain
impartial). It is usually much easier working with an immigration attorney
than dealing directly with the US Immigration & Naturalization Service
(INS). Be creative!

Europe’s culture is historic, charming and
sensual. California culture is more experimental, innovative and money
driven. This site’s other pages go into detail.
